Take the Bus

Scheduled bus service connects you to the Northwest Territories from Alberta. Information about routes and timetables is available from Greyhound Canada (1-800-661-8747), Frontier Coachlines (867-874-2566), and Northern Exposure (867-392-6347).

Yellowknife has local bus service, most other large communities have taxi service, and cars and trucks may be available for rent. There is no passenger rail service.
