Enjoy comfort and northern hospitality at the Arctic Chalet! Our log home and historic log cabins have that charming northern flair along with the convenience of modern facilities. We are located on a beautifully landscaped property beside a quiet lake on the edge of town. We offer free shuttles daily to the town center for our fly-in and motorcycle guests, so you really can have the best of both worlds! Our motel-style rooms are private and non-smoking with kitchenettes, satellite TV, phones, high speed wireless Internet and private bath. Some basic complementary breakfast foods are supplied in each kitchenette for a self-catered breakfast. We supply dishes and cookware in our kitchenettes. Our newest cabin is our honeymoon suite which is a spacious and charming cabin that has a full kitchen facility. In our common sun room you can use our guest computer for checking your emails. Most rooms have porches or balconies where you can sit and relax outside. We also have two gas barbecues available to our guests. There are two rooms upstairs in our log home that share a kitchen and bath and are available at a better rate than our rooms with private bath. We also have pet-friendly rooms and a cabin without amenities at a more economical rate. Airport shuttles are $25. Our rates range from $85 to $150 for singles or doubles. We are not your traditional bed and breakfast but we do offer some basic complemetary breakfast foods which are supplied in each kitchenette for a self-catered breakfast. Each kitchenette has silverware, dishes and cookware. Our newest addition is our honeymoon suite which is a spacious and charming cabin that has a full kitchen facility where you can cook all of your meals. We also have a common sun room with a guest computer so you can check your emails. We have two guest rooms upstairs in our log home that share a kitchen and bath facility. We also have pet-friendly rooms and an economy cabin without amenities. Airport shuttles are $25. Our rooms range from $85 to $150 for singles or doubles. There is a $20 charge for the additional single bed in a single or double room.

Housekeeping Lodges

Spend a few days or a week out in the bush at a very secluded cabin tucked away in some beautiful hills about 20 kilometers from Inuvik. Here you can enjoy relaxing in this spacious cabin with indoor toilet, propane lights, kitchen appliances and two wood stoves. It can sleep up to 12 people in four bedrooms and a loft, and is Ideal for groups looking for a quiet retreat in nature. Ideal place for snowshoeing or fall hiking.

Enjoy canoeing, hiking and playing with the White Huskies during your stay at the Arctic Chalet.
