Looking for a good fight, or just a great meal? Anglers can fish for more than nine top species in the Northwest Territories.
Visitors and residents over the age of 16 and under 65 require Northwest Territories fishing licences, available by mail, from government offices or at lodges and convenience stores across the territory.
You’re in expert hands with licenced Northwest Territories fishing outfitters.
Our guides are recognized for their knowledge and respect for the land and waters. They offer guided angling adventures on dozens of lakes and rivers across the Northwest Territories, for a day, a half day or a week.
Some offer fishing trips from our communities, while others offer fly-in fishing adventures on a remote lake or river. Your fishing outfitter will make the arrangements for you, including looking after boats and charters, then offer expert guiding services and a shore lunch of your fresh caught fish.
