Fly Fishing

Fly FishingThere are plenty of opportunities to try out your fly fishing skills in Canada’s Northwest Territories.

Our hungry fish have only a few months of open water, and rise to the challenge of custom flies. Our lodges and outfitters will help you plan a memorable vacation. Fly in to fish a secluded lake, or fish from the shore of a lake or river close to a community.

Northern pike, Arctic char, whitefish and pickerel jump for sculpins, scuds or steelhead. Arctic grayling prefer smaller flies like nymphs. You’ll be fishing a legend in the Northwest Territories.
