Track Your Mountain Trophy

A trophy hunt in the Mackenzie Mountains can get your name in the record books. Prime game includes Dall’s sheep and mountain goats, mountain caribou, Alaska/Yukon moose, wolves and wolverines. Grouse, snowshoe hare and ptarmigan are plentiful. There’s also great fishing in mountain lakes and rivers.

Non-residents are required to hunt with an outfitter licensed by the Government of the Northwest Territories. There are eight in the Mackenzie Mountains, each operating within an assigned area – up to 38,000 km sq (15,000 square miles) of peaks and valleys – your exclusive wilderness preserve. As a group, they’ve racked up a high success rate, including many record-book entries.
