To reach Wrigley (Pedzeh Kj, "clay place") you take a scenic drive north on Highway 1 from Fort Simpson. Cross the Liard River by ferry to Fort Simpson (see Nahanni Country), then cross the Mackenzie River by ferry to follow the route north. Wrigley, a Slavey Dene community, is the northernmost point on the Mackenzie Highway, and potentially the start of a road that will parallel the Mackenzie River.
Wrigley is located beside the river, with views of the Franklin Mountains. Roche Qui Trempe a l'Eau is an impressive 366 metre cliff that drops to the river's edge, and at its base there are some warm water sulphur springs. There's a community store. Visitors can check at the Band Office for information on trails to scenic spots.
