Fishing Great Slave Gateway

Fishing Great SlaveHay River is a fine base for fishing excursions. There's fishing along the shore of the Hay River for pike and walleye, fishing near Kakisa for pike, walleye and grayling, and fishing on the road to Fort Resolution and near the borders of Wood Buffalo Park. There are several fishing lodges and camps in the area, accessible by chartered float plane.
