The starting point for Nahanni Country is Fort Simpson, on NWT Highway 1, at the confluence of the Mackenzie and Liard rivers. Drive the Deh Cho Connection from Alberta or British Columbia. Fly to Fort Simpson on daily scheduled flights from Yellowknife and Whitehorse, Yukon. Both cities are connected to southern Canada by daily jet flights. To access Nahanni National Park Reserve, you must travel by charter aircraft.
