Ice Roads

The longest ice road in the world extends from Tibbett Lake at the end of the Ingraham Trail 568 km to Contwoyto Lake in Nunavut. It is open to large trucks from January through March. Shorter routes in Northern Frontier Country link the Tlicho communities to Behchoko, and are open to passenger vehicles at your own risk.
