Mackenzie Delta Flightseeing

Fly out over the Mackenzie Delta – an incredible maze of rivers, streams lakes and islands at the mouth of the Mackenzie River.

The Delta is 210 kilometres long and 62 kilometres wide, about twice the size of metropolitan Toronto. It is a haven for wildlife, and a nesting ground for many bird species.

Tour operators and airlines offer excursions to see the Delta and nearby attractions. Visit and hike in Arctic Parks. Sample the whaling history of Herschell Island or take a pingo tour at Tuktoyaktuk.
