Fly to Inuvik.
Canadian North and First Air offer daily jet service from Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta, and Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. There's also an Air North flight from Whitehorse, Yukon to Inuvik, which stops in Old Crow.

Drive the Dempster Highway from Dawson City, Yukon.
This is one of the world's most memorable trips – 734 km through mountains and across tundra, crossing the Arctic Circle and three historic rivers, the Peel, the Arctic Red and the Mackenzie. The Dempster is Canada's only highway to the Arctic.
