City of YellowknifeThree airlines, Air Canada Jazz, Canadian North and First Air offer daily jet flights to Yellowknife from Edmonton and Calgary. Yellowknife's airport also serves as the starting point for flights to most points in the Northwest Territories.

For road travelers, the highway from northern Alberta is paved all the way to Yellowknife, with parks, waterfalls and wildlife to see along the way.
